Kiss was born in Hungary on
26 January 1896. Volunteering for the air arm
of the Army, Kiss graduated as a Sergeant pilot
in April 1916. He was a courageous and skillful
pilot, and was wounded twice in air action.
On 25 May, 1918 the 22 year old Kiss took off
for his final flight in his black Albatross.
He was killed in action and posthumously commissioned
to Leutnant to mark his courage and bravery. |
