Biography
Enlisting in the army on 12 February 1916, Marinovitch transferred to the French Air Service on 14 July 1916 and received a Pilot's Brevet on 15 November 1916. After additional training, he joined N38 in March 1917 but ill health forced him into the hospital. When he recovered, he was reassigned to N94 for the duration of the war. By the time the Armistice was signed, Marinovitch had achieved 21 victories and was the highest scoring ace in his Escadrille.
