Born on 20 June 1893 in Berlin,
Bolle was the son of an academic. After fighting
in the infantry, Bolle joined the Air Service
in February 1916. By July 1918, he had a score
of 28 victories, and finished the war with
a score of 36. After the war he was appointed
Director of the German Transportation Flying
School. During World War Two, he was a special
advisor to the Luftwaffe. He died in Berlin
on 9 October 1955. |
